What it is
Sudict is a language-learning app for Android. It is neither a translator nor a word trainer: it shows how a language is built — word meanings with their sources, real inflected forms, a grammatical profile of the language and a side-by-side comparison of one language with another.
Problem
Why it exists
Language apps either translate a word and stop, or drill vocabulary lists and count streak days. Neither shows where a meaning comes from, which forms a word actually takes, or how the grammar of the language you are learning differs from the one you already speak.
Solution
How it works
Sudict puts a sourced dictionary, sentence translation with a breakdown of every choice, and a typological language passport into one native Android app. Progress is measured by what a person can do, not by days in a row.
